Instrument
Zeiss VisuMax 800 SMILE®pro
The Zeiss VisuMax 800 SMILE®pro femtosecond laser system is used for corneal refractive surgery, specifically SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) for myopia correction. It utilizes femtosecond laser technology to create extremely small laser bubbles within the cornea, allowing for precise cutting of the middle layer of the cornea to achieve the desired refractive effect.
WaveLight EX500 Excimer Laser
The WaveLight EX500 Excimer Laser is a state-of-the-art excimer laser used in refractive surgeries. With a laser pulse frequency of 500Hz, it shortens the treatment time. The eye tracking system operates at 1050Hz, allowing for approximately 1050 eye position adjustments per second with a response time of approximately 0.02 seconds. This greatly reduces the risk of laser misalignment. It is applied in procedures such as LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) and PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) to provide patients with excellent visual restoration
VICTUS™ Femtosecond Laser Platform
The VICTUS™ Femtosecond Laser Platform has obtained the approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Conformity (CE) mark certification. It is the only platform on the market that utilizes Swept-Source Optical Coherence Tomography (2S-OCT) scanning technology. It finds wide applications in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and refractive surgery, among others.
Catalys™ Precision Laser system
The CATALYS™ Precision Laser system uses 3D OCT Imaging and INTEGRAL GUIDANCE Technology with automatic surface mapping and guided delivery to generate precise and accurate laser incisions that are key to accurate incisions.
Heidelberg Retina Angiograph & Optical Coherence Tomography
The German Heidelberg HRAplus II fundus angiography system utilizes laser light source synchronized confocal imaging to provide high-resolution images of the eye. It is used for diagnosing and monitoring eye conditions such as retinal diseases and macular lesions.
YAG Laser
The stability and reliability of yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) laser make it an important tool in laser technology for treating conditions such as retinal detachment, glaucoma, and posterior capsule opacification.
